My Saturday on Thursday
I take my kayak trips along the river during the week, so I don't disrupt the schedule my father has come to rely on to have respite from caring for mother. She also has a CNA and Hospice to help her get up in the morning now. Thursday, I lollygagged along the river, mostly swimming and enjoying the hot sun. I only took a few photos. Otters on The Wacissa River 7/21/11
Over on Facebook, I was bragging to Jon Johnson about my otter tracking skills and describing my technique for spotting these animals. I decided I better try out my technique again to see if it really is a good one for finding otters. It worked very well for me, today! Jon is an excellent Florida Black bear spotter so I felt I had to measure up.
