Piney Z Lake: Following a Nesting Pair of Osprey and other days views

It's been a year since I have been able to find the time and patience to get back into my blog but I am back in and intend to add the last year's photos, so be patient. Unfortunately this old brain needs some jump starting and these photos are out of sync with the story.

I am currently watching a nesting pair of osprey on Piney Z lake in Tallahassee.

3/23/2014:Kayaking the Lower Wacissa at Goose Pasture

I have been caring for my ninety year old father for the past year, since he is now so infirm that he needs continual help. I don't get to go very far from home but this day I had Christina the CNA over so I could spend some time at Goose Pasture with the Valdosta crew. Steve Thompson organized a week long camping trip. I was there a few hours and Lynn and Julie and I tooled around in our kayaks.

Visiting Maurys' Pond: 4/7/2013

Had a lovely visit to Maurys house last year. We rowed on her pond.Trixie went swimming and I met many of her dear animals. She is helping her mom now and her lovely homestead is for sale.

 It was a great birding day and I even saw blue winged teals.
