  1. No fair! I need labels on them birds. (Well, on most of them.)

Especially on that last one. I never saw a bird like that....

  2. The videos help give a sense of the place, and complement your great photos; well done, as usual. Keep both up! Please! (I particularly enjoy your otter photos.)

Are there any walking trails along the Wacissa?

You asked about my blog: I don't have one, I really don't have that much to say on a regular basis. In thinking about it, a reason I like blogs such as yours and your father's is because underneath and throughout there is a core of sequential narrative there; they're jointed, not disjointed.

But, ya got me thinkin'. Perhaps in simple fairness I should get one, filled in enough to give some information about me back to the few blogs I occasionally post a comment on. We'll see. And so, thank you for asking about my blog!

Uh, unless I missed something, which is possible, isn't it news to your blog that Nathan got married. But, following Ms. Manners' etiquette tip, congratulations to him and I'm happy for her. And who knows, in time there may be more than two to haul your ashes!

BTW, readers of your father's blog knew your occupation.

Well, I'm sorry to say Nathan is not yet married. No potential candidate exists, as far as I know.

The Wacissa is accessible through the Aucilla Wildlife Management area and walking trails abound. However, I do not believe they are formally marked.

Yes, you should start one. I'm curious about you, as well.

  7. Dear PFG, I told Freestone about your blog, in fact, wrote it down for him. I lived on Park Avenue across from the Old City Cemetery for many years and for at least twenty of those years saw Freestone walking by regularly. Last month I stumbled onto his blogs and recognized his picture. So when I saw him in the Lake Ella Publix the other night, I stopped and talked with him. The conversation got around to photos and so I told him about your blog.

    It's a small, nice world.
